The Seville Cathedral is conveniently located near public transport stops. The nearest Metro station is Puerta Jerez (Line 1), which is just a 5-minute walk away. Alternatively, the T1 Tram line stops at Archivo de Indias, directly across from the Cathedral and Giralda entrance. Both options offer easy access from various parts of Seville.
Several bus lines serve the area around the Cathedral. Key bus stops include Puerta Jerez and Menéndez Pelayo. Routes such as 05, 16, C3, C4, and EA (Airport Express) have stops within a short walking distance. Check the TUSSAM website or local maps for the most current routes and schedules to plan your journey.
Driving directly to the Seville Cathedral is not recommended as the historic city center of Seville has restricted traffic zones (Zonas de Bajas Emisiones - ZBE) and limited, expensive parking. There is no dedicated public car park at the Cathedral itself. The nearest public car parks are Parking Puerta de Jerez or Parking Cano y Cueto, both within a 5-10 minute walk. Be aware of traffic restrictions and parking costs if you choose to drive.
The Seville Cathedral is centrally located and easily accessible on foot, especially if you're exploring other major attractions like the Royal Alcázar, Giralda, or the Santa Cruz quarter. Walking to the Cathedral allows you to soak in the vibrant atmosphere of Seville's historic streets and discover charming hidden corners along the way. Follow signs towards 'Catedral' or 'Giralda' from nearby areas.
